Norris delivered the Key Note speech at Oracle Industries executive
forum on Consumer
Packaged Goods. Oracle created an intimate forum for its business partners
to interact with and learn directly from Mr. Norris and other executives
at some of the industries top firms and agencies. Mr. Norris has broad
experience in government, life sciences (LS), health care (HC), and
academia. He served as Deputy Commissioner and COO of the US Food and
Drug Administration and as Special HC Policy and Management Advisor
to President Reagan, Secretaries of Health and Human Services Heckler
and Bowen, and the United States Senate and House of Representatives.
Mr. Norris focused on how changes in the global economy and terrorism
have impacted the CPG marketplace. He outlined several approaches to
apply business technology to reduce costs, drive better business process,
increase profitability, and position organizations for success moving
ahead.
